Is an inclusive Sri Lankan identity possible?
The Sri Lankan Youth Organisation (SLYO UK) and Sri Lanka Unites invite you to explore the opportunities and challenges that we as the Sri Lankan diaspora face in a post war Sri Lanka. This discussion hopes to create a safe space to explore the nuances of being a British Sri Lankan, our existing connections to the island, the complex interplay between British and Sri Lankan culture, and the ways that we could move forward with healing and accountability as a community. Tickets are limited so we invite all those interested in an afternoon of listening and sharing their thoughts to join us by booking your space now. Details are as follows.
Date: 21st August 2021 at 12.30pm (UK).
