Dear Parents,
We are pleased to inform you all that we have organised a Virtual Sil Programme to be conducted from 08.30 am on the 30th of May, 2021 for our children via Zoom to commemorate the Vesak Poya Day meaningfully.
Therefore, we would like to invite you to make the necessary arrangements to facilitate the programme creating a temple like surrounding in the house so that children will be able to experience a real like Dhamma Session at home. It is good if you can have a Buddha statue or an image to offer Buddha Puja (flowers, incense sticks, a candle and a virgin portion from the meal of Dana that children consume on the day).

We would like all the children to be on video on unless it is inconvenient.

08.30 am - Observing Ashtanga Sila and Buddha Puja
09.00 am - Breakfast Dana
09.30 am - Dhamma Desana by Ven. Wadigala Samitharathana Thero (Oxford University)
10.30 am - Meditation
11.00 am - Buddha Puja
11.30 am - Lunch Dana
12.00 pm - Short Dhamma
12.30 pm - Paritta Chanting & Anumodana
13.00 pm - Vesak Display Session and The End
