Festival of Cricket 2020 Update

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has brought many challenges to holding the Festival this year. Following numerous conversations and discussions with our Partners, Supporters and Advisors, FOC organising Committee has decided to cancel the FOC 2020 Festival. This was enforced by the public health concerns of the coronavirus pandemic, the grave concerns and risks of mass gatherings, adding strains on the medical and emergency services, together with the worldwide travel restrictions.

The health situation has given us an opportunity to focus on supporting those affected by the coronavirus crisis. FOC arranged the donation of Medical Equipment worth Rs 1.5 Million to the new isolation ward at the Infectious Diseases Hospital (IDH) Sri Lanka. FOC Charity Foundation will also be continuing its ongoing support to the Cancer Research UK and Anthony Nolan Cancer Trust.

We are grateful to the Public for their attendance at all the past annual events. It is your presence, participation, with the passion for The Festival that shaped to make the event better and more popular each year.
