Sri Lankan government has decided to lift the temporary ban imposed on inbound travellers to Sri Lanka from the 1st of June 2021.
Upali Dharmadasa, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka said, however restrictions for the passengers who have been to India within the last 14 days will continue until further notice.
Sri Lanka imposed a temporary travel ban on passenger arrivals to Sri Lanka from the 21st – 31st of May due to the rapidly spreading third wave of the coronavirus.
